Not So Cool!

Hi there, little blog. Have you missed me? Well, I'll be back soon. As soon as I can stand being inside during the heat of the day! You see, a few months ago, Joe signed us up for Rocky Mountain Power's coolkeeper program. In theory, it's a great idea. My experience so far? Not so "cool"! Is the $20 credit to our bill this fall, and the $25 amazon gift card worth living in an 85 degree home? Read what I think here!

Maybe you should come over here. Someone turned the AC down to 72 today. No coolkeeper program here.

I say you show how tuff you really are and turn it up to 86 F........The heat stinks.

That is crazy!! And if it makes you feel better, Utah's electricity is one of the cheapest in the nation per kilowatt. So run that air!! It costs a fortune everywhere else.

Crazy Robyn! I would hate that! I guess at least it's not 112 degrees like it was here last week :) And what's that about buying cloth diapers? Even crazier! :)

Wow, cloth diapers-- brings back memories of 6 babies and lots and lots of cloth diapers. When you're used to it, it's not too bad.

And that coolkeeper, I don't know, I'm feeling for you. Please come over for visiting and cooling down ! ! !

Oh my GOSH!!! Gary works at Rocky Mtn. Pwr and he called me one day in the spring and said "MOM" don't sign up for cool keeper because it is a rip off and you will hate it. Get off that darn thing if you can.

It's too bad that the only time the coolkeeper thing goes into effect is when everyone is dying of the heat and can't wait to go inside to cool off. But hey, twenty bucks is twenty bucks!!!

So will you spend your $20.00 on ice cream to cool down with??
