Christmas 2008!

We had a fabulous pre-getting-sick Christmas! Christmas Eve was spent with my wonderful in-law's, then we welcomed my entire family into our home...7 adults, 5 kids, 1 shower! Good thing we like each other.

Parker was so cute this year. Anytime we asked what Santa was going to bring him for Christmas, he'd say "a red present." Or, "a red car." Silly Santa forgot that little detail, but Parker didn't seem to notice!

Avery was so fun! Her favorite present...from Grandpa and Nanu...Minnie Mouse!

See? I told you she smiles! And maybe I shouldn't have been so ambitious with the big-sized jammies.

Christmas wouldn't be complete without matching PJ's, pictures of 4 generations of girls, sexy heels, and long-into-the-night games. This year's pick (thanks to Michael): Ticket To Ride!

After Christmas, we went for a girl's breakfast out (along with my dad who couldn't bear missing out) with some of our childhood friends...Aly and LaDean!

Not pictured: The Discovery Museum at the Gateway...possibly more fun than Disneyland.

Thanks for such a fun Christmas, everyone. Maybe I shouldn't admit this, but this was probably the first year I really was more excited about what I was giving than what I was getting. I couldn't wait for Parker to see his presents on Christmas morning. I must be getting old!

P.S. I am so glad you posted a breakfast picture...I've been waiting for my mom to post hers (so I could steal it off the blog) and she never has posted it, now I can steal it from you:)

First you try to steal my friend Evelyn...and now do I see old high school buddy Matt Slivka on your blog? Make your own friends, Robyn! And happy New Year!

I am so bummed that we got here after Kimberly went back home. I would have totally come up and would have loved to meet you too. Looks like you guys had a great time. That is funny about getting old. I said the same thing to Jeff on Christmas morning when I was the Mom making the cinnamon rolls and bacon and we watched the kids open presents. It was our first year not visiting his parents so we suddenly became the parents. Weird!

What great memories. I am so glad we got to be part of them. It was so much fun getting to visit with all of you guys and that your Dad wanted to be part of the get-together!!

Sounds like you had such a fun Christmas! Having kids that are excited makes it so much more fun, doesn't it?! How fun that your whole family could be there at your house. Sounds like we need to make a trip up to go to the Gateway Museum!

My Avery has that exact Minnie that she received from Disneyland when she was one, she still adores it and she will be five next week.

Wow, you weren't kidding you had a full house! I can't imagine the kind of wars and negotiations for the shower! Even though it gets crazy, I'm sure it'll be a Christmas you remember for a long, long time!

My husband and I didn't get much so it was all about giving. And it was one of my best Christmases ever!

How fun! I missed seeing your parents but "officially" we were not invited to the party at Penni's. I know, I'm lame but glad you guys had a great Christmas! Sounds like fun!

We really had a great time! Too bad we can't hang out like that every day! By the way, I think my baby misses me...you better bring her to visit me soon!

Enjoy the magic of Christmas and Santa and all that goes with it because that is a magical time of life and I really love it. It's the traditions that are created and all down the the ages families have had the magic of Christmas and families - love the pictures.

Getting together with family is the best!

Robyn - It has been a long time... 10 years to be exact. You look so happy and your kids are adorable. Nicki gave me your blog! It is so fun to see what everyone has been up to since college.
