The week I was due with Lily was anything but relaxing! I really wanted to go into labor on my own, but as my due date came and passed, I was almost convinced it would never happen.
(Due date) June 22nd: Spin Class at the gym, walk 2 miles
June 23rd: SET class (Strength Endurance Training), walk 2 miles, have Marci and Marcus over to build shelves in all of our closets.
June 24th: Caulk and paint shelves ALL. DAY. LONG. House is in shambles, so I decide that not going into labor is a very good thing!
June 25th: Put closets back together, clean entire house, do laundry. Okay...NOW I can go into labor!
June 26th: Go see Toy Story 3 (which made me cry, by the way...), go to Family Reunion, relax! Induction scheduled for tomorrow morning at 8:30 am. Drop kids off at Joe's parents' house for the night.
June 27th: Wake up at 1:30 am to go to the bathroom. Try to go back to sleep (after opening dishwasher to make sure dishes are dry enough to put away in the morning), and realize that I'm having intense contractions every 6 minutes. Try to convince husband that I'm serious as he tries to convince me that it's just anxiety! Leave the house at 2:30 am, get checked into room at 3 am. Tell the nurse that I'm not getting an epidural. Change my mind after she tells me I'm a 4 as I listen to my sleepy husband trying to coach me on how to breathe. Get an epidural, then immediately feel pressure. Had I known I was already a 9, I would have held off on the pain meds! Feel ready to push at 4 am, wait 15 minutes for the doctor to arrive, push 5 times, then meet baby Lily at 4:42 am! Going into labor on my own is the way to go! From the time I woke up, I only had to wait 3 hours to meet this angel baby...
Devon took the sweetest pics of Baby Lily! I couldn't wait for his editing to share some...who needs editing when you're this cute? I didn't know whether I could love Baby #3 as much as the other 2, but Lily came into the world, and my heart definitely expanded. She's only a week and a half old, but I'm hanging onto every newborn minute...and Lily's patiently surviving the billions of kisses we give her every waking (and sleeping) moment. We love you, Lily Jo! Welcome to the crazy world!

She's so cute! Good luck with everything!
Those pictures are so cute. I hope I can keep my butt in gear enough to work out like you all the way through pregnancy. So amazing! I hope life with 3 kids is going well.
What a princess! Those baby #3's are simply the best! What an angel!
You are amazing at working out! How's life with 3 little ones? Lily looks like a sweetheart!
congrats! is she too new to come to a baby shower? she can sleep in the nursery...which we finally finished...either way I'll see you soon!
What a doll! Congrats Robyn!
Your labor story sounds just like mine, minus all the impressive exercising you did right up until the end. I too was scheduled to be induced, then woke up at 1:30 am in labor on my own, had an epidural right before it was time to push, and had Olivia at 4:43 am. I am glad she is here, and healthy, and she is beautiful. Love the name, by the way :)
Congrats! She is just gorgeous. Love the name, too.
Lily is so precious. However, nothing can make me baby hungry. Not for along time. I need to come see you soon. Love ya!
Congrats again! She's beautiful! And I love the name Lily.
Wow our labor stories do sound a lot a like! You are lucky you got your epidural though! I would have given anything to have one :) She is so precious! I love the pictures!
