Singing Girls

I have a very inspiring friend, Kandis. Her husband Colby was Joe's best friend in High School (and still is), so luckily Kandis and I hit it off and are just as good of friends as our hubbies are! She is a very motivated person...in ALL aspects of her life. About a year ago, she got a group of friends to meet together weekly just to sing. It has been GREAT, and I've made lots of new friends in the process! Last Sunday they all came to my ward to sing. I actually really hate this picture of me, but oh well. A girl at playgroup today said, "You know that really skinny girl you were standing next to while you sang? Well, she made you look REALLY pregnant." Thanks...just what I need to hear right now! From left to right, we are: me, Kandis, Kristie, Aimee, Wendie, Jesyca, and Michelle. Michelle has a video of us practicing on her blog...check it out here!

How fun to have a group to sing with. I hope you keep it up.

You are a good singer. Great that you can practice your skills often. And by the way... that a "nice" comment to say to a pregnant woman. That 'standing next to those other ladies you looked really pregnant'... people just are so thoughtful sometimes. :)

I meant to say WHAT a nice comment... sorry. Spelling mistakes are attacking me again.

Oh my gosh, I almost died when she said that! How do you always get those comments? It's quite baffling especially because it's not true! I really honestly don't think you're very big. (I was twice your size when I had Ammon!)You're just all in front. I walked out of play group behind you today and you don't look pregnant from behind at all!! I'll be your personal bodyguard from now on and beat up people who say retarted things... I'm in the mood anyway!! Ev

It's just like VE...I can hear your voice. At least you sing well...or we'd have an Ellen F. on our hands. Actually, for her sake let's call her E. Free. No one will guess who that is. You'll probably get mad at me for putting that, and make me delete the comment or something.
