Parker's newest fashion statement

Two years and two months ago, Parker received a pair of pajamas for Christmas. He was 7 months old. He refuses to stop wearing them. He'll be 3 in May.

Every time he insists on wearing these too-small-a-year-and-a-half-ago-jammies, I pray that no unannounced visitor stops by. So if you ever happen to be that visitor, I promise he has PJ's that fit. He just prefers short-sleeves, a scoop neck, and wedgie heaven. That can't be comfortable.
When will he realize that?

Too funny. That's a cute picture from when he got those. Too bad you can't find some that fit.

Wow! That is pretty funny. They actually fit better than I was expecting! So these are like a baby blanket or stuffed animal? I guess the day will come when he can't wear them any more. Very cute. I love that picture.

Way cute! I wouldn't want to take them away either. Maybe a comprimise will work. Maybe take the old jammies, strategically cut them, and turn them into or sew them onto some new jammies that fit?
Maybe a blanket that doesn't have to fit?
Wedgie heaven... so fantastically funny! Seriously, you bordered on stand up comedy status right there. :)
What was it? "Dont snore me anymore" ?
Kids are the best.

I cant believe that he can actually zip them up! How funny. Emma insists on sleeping in her princess dresses. Funny quirks.

My son went through a stage like that. I finally cut the feet out of them so they wouldn't give him wedgies. Kids get attached to the strangest things.

I think every kid gets attached to something. Spencer had a turtle shirt he wore every day for two years. Maybe you can disasemble the jammies and make a blankie... Sweet Parker...

Look how little he was back then! So cute! I'm impressed that he still gets those to fit...with Zac his PJ's last a matter of months before they're way too small.

That is too funny! He is soo cute!!

I was just reading another friends blog that posted a picture of her little almost 3 year old wearing her FAVORITE leggins, they were 18 month size! I told her about Annie's Little Mermaid swimsuit that was a 6 month old size that she squished into until she was 3 and we finally had to take it away from her (I swear it was cutting off her circulation)!!

Funny the things kids get attatched to:)

That is so funny! Although, I think it is totally cute that he has a favorite pair of pj's. Good thing you have some pictures of that :)

Oh my gosh that is so freaking hilarious. Could I recommend cutting out the feet? Might buy him so more time.

Ha ha. My girls do this too. They lock on to a pair they love and there's no letting go. My 7-year-old won't give up her 5T feetie jammies. Eventually she asked me to cut the feet off of them so she can sqeeze out another year. I'm glad we're not alone on this.

Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without! What a great teacher he is....HAHAHAHAHA, just kidding! But I love this kid! Paul had a blast playing with him at the family thing. Kids have minds of their own. One day he won't be able to zip it up. That will be a sad day indeed!

I love the pajamas and all you have to do is cut the feet out. Parker is really a personality. I remember you when you were little and wore a striped dress and your mom had to keep it washed for you so you could wear it. That was your uniform and you insisted on wearing it til it was almost shredded. DO YOU REMEMBER?

LOL. That is hilarious. I would think the wedgie factor would be to much to handle, but apparently not.

That is hilarious. My son is the same way with clothes. Once he finds something he likes, he won't give it up. My daughter could care less about clothes. You would think it would be the other way around!

I see you haven't cut the feet out yet. That's probably the next step. Too funny!
