Scarecrow Festival

Every year, Marci and Jacob invite me and Parker to the scarecrow festival. (This was the third year of this tradition). This year the party grew, and somehow I didn't get any pictures of Parker and Jacob! But we had a blast! Instead of just the 4 of us, Tate and Avery came along. So did Grandmas G and B. And I thought, what the heck. Why not bring Parker's girlfriend Ellie, along with her mom and brother. And Marci thought, why not bring Jessica and her two boys and niece and nephew? So our party of four quickly became a party of sixteen.

At the festival (AKA "bess-bull") we did some crazy house-bouncin', slide climbin' and slidin', pumpkin picture takin', choo-choo train ridin', and best of all Navajo Taco eatin'. Long live the scarecrow bess-bull tradition!

Pumpkin patches are the best. I love when fall rolls around. Avery looks like she is finally getting so hair, yay. Love all the bows you put her in.

Ya gotta love fall! These pictures are so cute. Is that how Parker pronounces festival? Too funny...and...Avery's purple looks great with orange pumpkins!

By the way, you've probably already been tagged...but tag. Read my blog.

I loved the Bess-bull except the spontaneous screams from my children over nothing! I love the pic of all four in front of the Scarecrow display... priceless!

I have a friend that works at West Ridge Academy (the ones that do the festival) and they really do amazing things bring teens back from the brink of disaster. I thought I might enjoy going to the festival, but then I remembered that I have no kids and bounce houses, etc. are not for "grown-ups".

Actually the bounce houses are for adults! (but I guess I would probably feel pretty silly if I didn't have a kid with me!) Long live the tradition and hopefully long live the tradition of getting in free!
