Day at the Park

Yesterday Marci introduced me to the COOLEST PARK EVER! It's only a few minutes from my house, but I hadn't seen it or heard of it before. I'm SO HAPPY the weather is finally getting warm...hopefully for good! I didn't realize it when I took this picture, but Marci and Jacob are in it, so you can see Marci's cute pregnant belly!
Parker wasn't really sure what to think of the whole experience. I tried the swing first. At first he seemed to like it, but after a few minutes got scared every time it came forward. I couldn't help but laugh every time he screamed...I know it wasn't funny to him, but it was so cute when he yelled, "waaaaa!"
Joe came and met us for a minute since we were close to his work. He tried the big red swing, but Parker still didn't like the swinging sensation. Joe turned him around and held him facing him. Parker held on for dear life, but seemed to like it better.
Parker seemed very unsure about the whole thing. He wouldn't crawl on the wood chips...he tried to eat a few, though!
So this picture would have been cuter if I wasn't sticking my head all the way out! Still cute, though...Parker looks like he's holding himself up, but he's not.
Here's a picture of Parker and Jacob in their matching Superman hats...we weren't even together when we bought them! Jacob was a lot more excited about the park than Parker was, so in a few months hopefully he'll have more fun! I loved it, though!

I almost thought that last picture was two pictures of Parker. Although Jacob is looking down, he kind of looks like Parker. That park looks a lot like one in Cedar City that we took the kids to once. Very cool, Parker will love it in a few months!

Awesome looking park! You have to show me were it is, the next time we'll be there. I had no clue about this park either. Parker looks cute.. as always. :)

I'll bet that was funny watching Parker's reaction to the whole park thing! I laugh thinking about it. I see you had to bring the spoon along. What a funny thing to grow attached to!

I am so impressed about how you are getting all of the most important moments of Parker while he is still a "BABY" he is growing up so fast. Robyn somehow your not unpacking your boxes yet makes me feel like a kindred spirit. You definitely are related to me for the good and the bad. Hopefully I will do some changing but I sure do love you and the things that you accomplish.

Just think how scary it must be for little kids on the swing- they totally can't understand why they feel so out of control!! I'm not sure if you remember Ron Gannon, but he's the one who has cancer. He had just started a job in Kingman, AZ for us where he lives when he became ill. It's been hard on everyone- Lynn talked to him today and they sent him home from the hospital with pain medication because there's nothing they can do. So sad- say a prayer for him and his wife.

First time on the swing is hilarious! Just wait a few more times and you won't be able to get him out! Emma could swing for hours! It makes me wonder when little kids learn to pump! That looks like the coolest park, I hope I can find some good parks in Henderson!

Update please! By the way, did you buy Parker more spoons to play with and lose? Maybe that's what I should get him for his birthday.
